Last week (Friday) I had a chance to catch up with Jefferson Forest Volleyball's Charlotte Morse, Makena Yong, Haley Scott, Ava Compton and Coach Katie Martin for their thoughts. Cavs travel to E.C. Glass in tonight's regional semifinal.

Brad Bradley (Heritage Head Coach) and J.T. Crews (Jefferson Forest Head Coach) both shared their thoughts with me after Friday night's thrilling 20-14 Overtime contest.

I have heard people say they hate the question "What is your favorite game" or "What Was Michael Jordan like". I expanded on that point with Pat Kelly of the Flames Sports Network and asked him "What Was It Like To Play For Frank Rocco"

When you saw I talked to Pat Kelly, maybe you thought the former Middle Infielder for the Yankees or the reserve outfielder with the Orioles. Nope, the former LCA and Liberty University Wide Receiver. He shared his thoughts on the Liberty win against Delaware and the upcoming tilt with Missouri State.

Ava Compton is a key part of the Jefferson Forest volleyball team. I don't know that I would call her the ignition, but she is a serious part to the car running. She knocked down "One On One with Bob Alvis". Hear her responses to some unusual questions right here.

So I have maybe interviewed two people from a family, (a brother and sister, a father and son, a father and daughter) but I don't know if I have ever INTERVIEWED THREE FROM THE SAME FAMILY. According to Haley Scott, I have now talked to the best. Hear her on One On One with Bob Alvis.

Charlotte Morse may be one of the best all around volleyball players in the Seminole District. The Jefferson Forest senior got questions from me that she will probably never hear again. 

Makena Yong is a young lady who is doing exceptional things for Jefferson Forest Volleyball. Yong got to field the questions of "One On One with Bob Alvis". Yong and the Cavaliers head to E.C. Glass for Monday's Regional Semifinal.

Spencer Sloan is a guy who was part of "Trench Mafia" last year. I (and David Harlow and J.T. Crews may agree with me) consider a TE just as much a part of the blocking and success of the Cavaliers as anything. Spencer Sloan fielded questions that he would never get asked.
