The home opener for the Liberty Flames is Saturday, when they host UAB. I had a chance to catch up with the play by play voice of the Flames, Alan York to talk all things LU. We reviewed the season opening win at Southern Miss, looked ahead to UAB, and talked the new faces to the Flames Sports Network.

High School Football Week 2 Recap

Big wins for several schools in the area this past Friday. J.T. Crews (Jefferson Forest), Jeff Woody (E.C. Glass), Frank Rocco (LCA) & Billy Mills (Dinwiddie) talked about them along with Dinwiddie QB Harry Dalton sharing his thoughts, as well as the man who called Dinwiddie & Heritage with me this past Friday, Chris Glaize.

Thursday night, Nick Pierce, sideline reporter for the Liberty Flames, shared with me his thoughts as Liberty plays the season opener at Southern Miss on Saturday. Nick talks the "new looks" for the Flames, what to expect out of the Eagles & more. 

William Fleming at Heritage Recap (8-26-22)

Heritage capped a comeback win over William Fleming on Friday night, 32-28. Brad Bradley's 100th win as head coach of the Pioneers. After the game, Coach Bradley shared his thoughts, Jamar Lovelace (the head man of William Fleming) gave his feedback, and finally my broadcast partner "Coach Que" Dwayne Hamlette shared his two cents. Heritage hosts Dinwiddie on Friday, while William Fleming hosts Albemarle.

My friend Cam Shepherd & I have several things in commons. Besides our good looks & high intelligence, we are both dad's of daughters. HS Boys BB 12-9-06 Heritage at Altavista Part 1

Back in the 06-07 High School Basketball Season, I guess I had been poisoned by watching too much TV, and I decided to do the three man booth a lot. Paul Baldwin, was a friend of mine and Kyle Hoehne's, so he joined us (as he wasnt coaching during this season) when Heritage came down for the Pioneers season opener, when they traveled to play Altavista. Coach Baldwin shared his insights with myself & Kyle. It was a fun game to do.
