The Sports Buffet Classic: Brookville Girls Basketball Coaches Talk about Brookville Seniors (2007-2008)

Before Senior Night of 2007-2008, The Brookville Girls Basketball coaching staff talked about the seniors, Brittany Campbell, Joyous Tharrington, Anna Pettyjohn & Nicole Stanley were all important during the program of Brookville Girls Basketball. Head Coach Warner Dyke, as well as his assistants, Heather Brown & Paul Baldwin gave some brief thoughts on the four seniors. In honoring Coach Baldwin (posting old podcasts featuring him), one thing that always stood out to me, was it was always about the program, not just that year's team. Coach Baldwin was always about building up kids, and developing them, not just looking for them to succeed one year, and that is it. We'll miss you Coach Baldwin!

I was looking for some classic interviews with Coach Paul Baldwin (who passed away on 6-14-22). I had forgotten this interview that I had done with Coach Baldwin. We talked about the Central Virginia Coaches Clinic, that he did at Altavista High School. In this, you'll hear about Coach Baldwin talking about the behind the scenes, the set up of the clinic. When I was going back to listen to this, the thing that struck me was Coach Baldwin's heart. He even says there is no unlimited check book, but Coach's heart, well he always wanted to give back. Joe Caruso Talks Appomattox Baseball

You can't say Joe Caruso, without saying "State Championship Coach". Appomattox is the 2A State Baseball Champions of the Virginia High School League. Coach Caruso talked about the journey of the Raiders throughout the playoffs. Coach also brought up the philosophies of staying at one site as opposed to sleeping in your own bed, and more.
