Jeremy Haymore has become Jeremy Haymore, Author. I asked him why write a book about Giles Football. The book is called the Bandana Express. Here's what Coach Haymore said when "Why" to writing the book. A book signing scheduled at Givens Books on July 29 (the Book Release date) in Lynchburg.

I cut my teeth by broadcasting Altavista Basketball, thus I got to spend time interviewing Mike Cartolaro quite often. I recently had a chance to catch up with Coach Cartolaro, to talk about his time at Parry McCluer. He recently retired from his role as Athletic Director, and we recapped his time in this interview.

Last week I had the pleasure to catch up with Robert Senseney. Coach has had stops at Gretna, William Fleming and currently at Halifax. He even took his talents to North Carolina. Cancer is a scary word, but the Coach is cancer free after beating kidney cancer. He took me through that journey and here it is on "The Sports Buffet Podcast"

In the really serious series "If Aliens came down to earth" who are 5 NBA Players you'd tell them to watch. Well, Cooper Stamn and Tyler Buggs told me their 5. I didnt edit it super tight, because I want you to hear that Cooper and Tyler had to think (especially when it got down to their 5th). Now, there's no requirements why you had to pick your 5 but, Stamn and Buggs gave supporting reasons on their choices.

I went down to Gretna Boys Basketball team camp last week and talked to some coaches about different topics (you'll hear more later) but on this feature, we talked about relationships with some coaches and their dads. I picked the brains of Brandon Harris (Staunton River), Hilliary Scott (Lynchburg University), Cam Shepherd (Brookville High School), Billy Shepherd (Brookville High School Assistant), Jacob Gruse (Cave Spring High School) and Casey Johnson (Altavista High School). While at Gretna, I got a lot of audio (most of what you're going to hear later) but while there, I talked with LCA's Matt Klein. Coach Klein gave me his recent thoughts on the Bulldogs play lately (including summer league play and Gretna's team camp)

It's never easy when you loss a member of your profession. Lynchburg Coach, Hillary Scott comments on the loss of Stacey Palmore. Coach Palmore was currently an assistant at Elon, after previous stops at several other schools including Virginia Tech.

I use to have the tradition of watching some of the NCAA Tournament (early rounds and more) with my friend Scott Wilson. Now, we are able to connect by phone and virtually.
